Emergency Relief Fund

Provides relief to members of the Department of State Police, other law enforcement agencies, and their families during crisis when there is nowhere else to turn for help.



Legal Defense

We support and defend the Virginia State Police who have devoted their lives to upholding the Constitution and serving the Commonwealth and its citizens while enforcing its laws.



Scholarships

Going back to school? We provide educational scholarships to VSPA members in good standing or their dependents to assist with post-secondary education expenses.



Trooper Teddy

VSPA provides the Department with little teddy bears for officers to give to children to comfort them in situations where they have been traumatized in some way.

Update – Aubrey’s Miracle Continues!

A number of you contributed to the VSPA Emergency Relief Fund to help Trooper Daniel Scaletta’s six year old daughter Aubrey who lost both her feet in a tragic accident in May 2023. We have a wonderful update.

Months later, at seven, Aubrey has progressed to using a walker. More remarkable is that she is dancing in the Nutcracker performance at the Moss Arts Center in Blacksburg with her twin sister, Grayson! What a beautiful gift in time for Christmas.
